DISSERTATION
Dr. Barenkamp’s dissertation is entitled, “The Relationship of Personal Identity Transformation in Christ and leadership Effectiveness.” The purpose of the study is to determine if a leader’s identity in Christ is essential to creating a positive relationship to effective leadership. Effective leadership is the contribution a leader makes to the attainment of visions and goals of the organization or group, and the followers’ satisfaction with the leader and the process. Through this study, Dr. Barenkamp determined there is both scriptural and a highly statistically significant relationship between the believer’s identity in Christ and leadership effectiveness.
